Why work with me?
More than anything, because I genuinely care - about who you are, what your kids love, the tricks your dog knows, the story behind your family. That real curiosity is what lets you relax: before we even meet, I'll guide you on what to wear, where to shoot, and reassure you that it's completely fine if the little ones don't behave "as they should."
Ten years and every kind of family later, restless toddlers, eye-rolling teenagers, partners convinced they hate being photographed, I've learned the magic is never in stiff posing. It's in staying present, never rushing, and adapting to whoever is in front of me, so the beautiful images come naturally out of an experience you actually enjoy.
And it doesn't end with a folder of files: I help you turn those photos into something you can hold and hang - an album, a framed print, a canvas - so the memories that would otherwise fade on a phone become artwork, a mirror of how much love lives in your home, for the next generations to see.
A little more about me
I'm Ayelen.
I was born in Argentina and grew up in an artistic family; my fascination with "drawing with light" led me to study cinema production, and my love of family led me to become a proud mum. Today I'm a Hong Kong-based photographer and a self-confessed citizen of the world, a dulce de leche croissant on fine porcelain, pa amb tomaquet on a picnic blanket, the scent of wet grass after rain.
I believe each of us is a brilliant, complex puzzle made of every place, book and person we've known. I can't wait to meet yours.
